Results from Durga and Shiva yagyas

Here are three stories of the results we’ve been getting from the Nine Days of Mother Divine yagyas:

A friend who’s been doing yagyas with us for several years sent her story.

This yagya was really amazing. The most major part of it is that recently I found out that I have a cousin who lives within 1 1/2 hours drive from me in Pacific Grove. I hadn’t seen her since she was 4. Anyway, during this yagya which I did for health, she started supporting me in going to the gym. She is a police officer and so is her husband and she is amazingly fit and strong. And I love her and her family, so that combination is actually enough to get me to go! I don’t have stamina for too much yet, but that will come. It is interfering with my schedule enough for my fitness program to exist that is the major breakthrough I needed. So now she is checking up on me via email daily. HAHA! I have been going to the gym and usually I get my husband to go with me at least most of the time, so this is affecting his health too.
And then on the food front, I got this amazing course on raw food cuisine. And by getting it early, I got a huge discount and a free year on a support site. Again, this will directly impact my husband. And he is putting in a fresh herb garden for me now. We have been getting more and more raw vegan over the past few years, but I hit snags. I think this course should help us go further to get more health benefits from it. And that year of support with a first rate teacher for a year is just wonderful. That very clean food seems to have a good effect on us spiritually as well.

And then finally during this time I had a doctor’s appt and he adjusted my thyroid medication and some other hormones and has me taking some supplements where I feel much more energy and in a better mood. That doctor told me I actually lost weight for the first time which he saw at that checkup. During this time, my husband has been in Physical Therapy for an arm injury that is healing. I just wanted to thank you and Annette once more and to pass thanks on to Pandijti because I am AMAZED at the difference 9 days could make.

This next story is from another couple who have been doing yagyas with us over the last year:
Yes, my wife and I are seeing positive results from the yagyas. The “Support in finding a new job” yagya had interesting, immediate effects. The day after the yagya started I received a call from a Career Recruiter who said that she had just reviewed my credentials, and was excited to begin a career search on my behalf! Within a few days after the yagya started I had my annual review with my Supervisor. My career has been in limbo for several years, and I had previously asked for clarification regarding my future without much feedback. During the yagya, to my amazement, my Supervisor laid out a clear career path for me, and an unexpected financial bonus came through that was quite a bit more than what was expected. He told me that he did not want to see me leave, and had a promotion opportunity available in the near future. Also, towards the end of the yagya I was inspired to apply for work for an on-line tech support website. I passed their screening, and now I am making some extra income doing this tech support work on the side.

Besides all of this excellent progress in my career, my wife and I worked through some karmic type issues, that we feel was a direct result of the Durga energy…bringing in a sense of peace, and calm at a time when our outer world seemed tense and obstructed. Our actions and overall direction seems focused, and peaceful after this last Durga yagya.

My wife had some real emotional, and spiritual break throughs during the last yagya. Mainly, a deeper sense of calm regarding raising our kids, working her part time job, and more peace in her relations with her Mother…she is brain storming ways of starting her own business, and writing the book she is becoming inspired to write.

My wife and I would really like to overcome obstacles. My wife and I felt a Special Intention yagya to Ganesha would be optimal right now. We thought it may help us overcome some of the “big” obstacles in our path. Also, based on our Jyotish charts, my wife and I are under the major influences of Saturn…I had heard Ganesh helps with that heavy Saturn feeling…

Sorry if I got a little long winded. But, yes…the yagyas have been wonderful. My wife is 110% on board with me on this journey. The yagyas have really helped us open up spiritually, we feel more connected, centered, and at peace.

Please feel free to forward this message to D.S. Dixit and the Pandits! Many thanks to our friends in Kanpur! The idea of a Pandit chanting mantras for three weeks is inspiring, and we are grateful!

Also, Regarding our “Overcoming Obstacles” yagya, could you ask for the mantra and the name of the Pandit?

Thank you,

The final story is my own:

I enjoyed strong support of Nature after Vasantik Navaratra. I participated in a Devi Puja and Shiva Puja each morning. I also commissioned the Nine Days of Mother Divine yagya as well as a one month Rudrabhishek Yagya.

After the Nine Days celebrations, and I left Brahmavarta, I went to Lucknow and caught a flight to Delhi. It was 22 hours from the time I got up until I got on a 9 hour flight to Paris. There, I sat in the airport for another 6 hours. I’d been on the road for 37 hours with only  a couple hours of sleep.

Air France had oversold my flight and called for volunteers to give up their tickets. I was at the ticket counter instantly. They gave me a $1000 travel voucher, overnight in a comfy hotel, and plenty of delicious French cooking. Imagine getting paid well to sleep when you really needed the rest! I’d call that support of Nature. And that’s not all.

My career was jewelry manufacturing. Since moving to Asheville from Florida, I’ve only dabbled in this field. In the late ’90’s, I presented an award winning paper at an international Jewelry Manufacturing Symposium. Even though I’d not spoken with the organizer of the Symposium in 10 years, he called me yesterday and invited me to present again. He wasn’t sure why, he just woke up that morning thinking about me. So he called!

This is a great opportunity that appeared out of nowhere.

These are some of the ways that yagyas work.

Best Regards,

Chuck Hunner

Reporting from Kanpur

Kanpur, India March 14th, 2010
Travel was smooth and pleasant as Pandit Dixit predicted.
I arrived exhausted in 2008. This time I arrived exhausted again, but had reserved a hotel room for two nights.
The ‘normal’ pattern of travel from the USA is to fly into Indira Gandhi Airport in Delhi and arrive just before midnight.
Then you take a taxi to the hotel, sleep for 4 hours and get on the Shatabdi Express, the fast train to Kanpur. That’s too much traveling for me all at once.

This time, I slept more and arrived in Kanpur much more rested.

The Shatabdi Express arrives just before noon. Mr. Gautam was waiting for me with the driver. He and Mr. Ajai are Panditji’s secretaries. Very pleasant and insightful men. We hopped into the car and began to battle the Kanpur Traffic. It takes about a half hour to drive to Vikas Nagar where the offices of the Vedic Life Foundation are located.

It is great to see Pandit Dixit again. We immediately started talking about the Navaratra, the Nine Nights of Mother Divine. He was saying that this time of year is so auspicious that no one even asks their jyotishis for a muhurta for starting things during Navaratra. A muhurta is an auspicious time to begin an action. People commission jyotishi’s to find a muhurta for marriages, starting trips, beginning building projects, signing papers to start a new company, new product launches. Any day, any time during the Vasantik Navaratra is auspicious. Panditji said with a chuckle that it would be an afront to the energy to even ask for a muhurta now. Mother Divine is here, what time to begin could be better? We have her full support!

If you have a new project that you want to get started, begin anytime during Vasantik Navaratra, March 16th to March 24th, 2010. Begin anytime during any of these Nine Days! and success is more certain.

To enhance these already excellent chances of success, do a yagya now. Please visit the Vasantik Navaratra page to see which yagyas are especially recommended now.

We will go out to the Ashram later this afternoon to see how preparations are proceeding. A solar lighting system for the pathways is installed! I’ll take some pictures and post them as soon as I can.

I plan to update this blog just about every day that I’m here.

I’m posting this after coming back from the Ashram. It has really changed a lot in the last year and a half. Panditji said it had been a long 10 years realizing this dream. I’ll post pictures of him performing a birthday puja in the Blue Ridge Mountains tomorrow. The Scott’s inspired him to build the Ashram and Shiva Temple.
